This Ohio Airline Will Help You Join the Mile High Club
And you don't have to break any laws.

In Ohio, there’s an airline offering admission to the mile high club — for $475 per couple.
Cincinnati-based Flamingo Air, a flight school and sightseeing tour operator, has a “romantic adventure” for people who want to get frisky at cruising altitude. The hour-long flight includes champagne and chocolates inside a retrofitted, single-prop Cherokee aircraft.
Flamingo Air started offering the package about 20 years ago, when President and CEO David MacDonald was discussing aviation with some friends and the topic of the mile high club came up, according to Priceonomics. He decided he could sell the idea.
If you’re comfortable getting intimate with only a curtain dividing you from your “very discreet pilot” (their words, not ours), there are pillows and blankets, and hopefully a good view of the Ohio River at sunset, to set the mood.
For some, having a private aircraft may take the thrill out of the whole escapade: The traditional fantasy is saturated with the excitement and adrenaline that comes with breaking the rules — and the risk of getting caught.
A 2011 survey found that as many as 20 percent of travelers have had sex on an airplane, though the survey did not distinguish between commercial carriers and private jets. If you're interested in joining the club, Flamingo Air offers a perfectly lawful option.
If breaking the rules is part of the appeal, experienced sources have a few tips. Just know that there could be consequences.
