Morning Inspiration with Pastor Merritt

I want you to take a moment right now and take stock of the abilities that God has given you. You may have the ability to cook. You may have the ability to sing. You may have the ability to sew. You may have the ability to play sports. You may have the ability to play a musical instrument. You may have the ability to relate to children, the ability to connect with teenagers, or you may have the ability to simply wave a hand and give a friendly smile, but here is the principle: It is not how much you have that matters to God; it is what you do with what you have that matters to Him. We do not all have equal abilities, but we do all have equal opportunities to use the abilities that we have to honor God and to bless others. Your opportunity will never exceed your ability, but your ability will always be equal to your opportunity.
