In I Kings, God asked Solomon, David's son and successor as king, what, of all the gifts God could provide him, he desired most. Without blinking an eye, Solomon asked for wisdom and nothing more. And because of this, God blessed not only Solomon, but the people as well. Perhaps if our current government leaders prayed and asked for wisdom every day, they, and we, might be blessed as a people and nation also! - Ron Lambros, President, Touching Lives

"When you face struggles and get handed what you don't deserve, you will be tempted to give up and give in. You will be tempted to throw in the towel. In these moments, you must make a decision either to assume God is absent and you're on your own or to believe God is present and standing beside you. The choice you will make will determine whether you stand or fall. Before you choose, remember this: God is with you even when there is no evidence He is." - Pastor Merritt
