When two people get married they take a sacred vow before the God who is performing that marriage, that they will love each other with a real love and that is what makes a marriage. People say today, “I don’t believe in marriage. I don’t need a piece of paper to be committed to someone.” Let me let you in on a secret. It never has been and it never will be about the paper. In Jesus’ day they didn’t have paper. It was about real love - the love that comes from God, the love that honors God, and the love that obeys God until death do us part. -Pastor Merritt
