You can be gentle in tone, but not be gentle in truth. You can be gentle on the outside without being gentle on the inside. You can say a lot of the right things without doing many of the right things. You will never have this fruit of gentleness in your life until you realize: 1) you are what you are by the grace of God; 2) you have what you have because of the goodness of God; 3) you are to take who you are and what you have and use it for the glory of God.-Pastor Merritt
