SELFIE
As I was driving to work this morning listening to the radio. The station that I was listening to does a "3 things you need to know" every day which is basically just three headlines of news that are interesting that people should know about. Pretty self explanatory right?
Today one of their 3 things concerned Amazon. Apparently Amazon has got a patent for a program that allows people to pay for their orders by taking a selfie. Now the program is not out yet and probably will not be for a while but its there, selfies will be the thing of the future. From what I understand is the program has to have a way of recognizing that a real person is taking the picture and not someone holding up someones picture in front of the camera. I guess there has to be some kind of head movement that will guarantee that a real person is taking the picture.
This should be interesting to follow over the next few years to see if it actually comes to fruition or not and how it will affect the world of online purchasing. If it is to work out I could see a lot more online buying with secure purchases.
