READ 1 Chronicles 29
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.
I have to say that the more that I’m in the word of God and the more I’m in community with others who are seeking, the more thankful I am for the blessing of this life. It is truly a privilege and honor to know that I am not alone in my pursuit of Godliness and in my failures as well.
Today I just want to remind you that we are meant to be a people with grateful hearts because the VICTORY is HIS. He is GREAT, with POWER AND GLORY….. and all that is in Heaven and Earth is His. How blessed are we that we serve a God who is unmatched in power and glory and while all the earth WILL bow to Him, He is OURS.
Maybe you’ve missed the good news… You are loved… You are a HOT MESS, and yet God says … You are mine! Wherever you are today… Don’t miss it. Don’t give Satan any victories, for when we are ungrateful in spirit we are right where he wants us. When we are ungrateful we become lightening rods for ungodly behavior. At the root of almost every evil in this world is an ungrateful heart. We become covetous, self-righteous, angry ungodly people when we are ungrateful. In a lot of ways being ungrateful is like looking at God and saying… “Hey man… You’re not doing your job… You are unfair…. You are unrighteous.”
Think about that for a second. Now think upon the amazing blessings of our lives and remember that He is good, He is just, He is strong, and HE IS GOD.
My prayer for you is that today you rest…. And you remember, and that your prayer would be the same as that of King David in 1 Chronicles 29.
Finally, let me remind you who you are:
You are LOVED, you are WORTHY, and you are ENOUGH. The cross of Calvary proves it true.
