Thoughts for the Day

God's silence can be deafening. Those moments when we plead with Him in prayer, yet they seem to rise no higher than the ceiling, crashing broken and unanswered on the floor. Always remember, God's silence does not mean His separation, for in that silence, God is often at work behind the scenes, working out the details to answer our prayers in the best way imaginable. Trust Him in His silence. The answer will come. - Ron Lambros, President, Touching Lives

Have you ever noticed the more you spend time with other people the more you become just like them? You will find yourself using phrases they use, seeing things the same way they seem them, and adopting the same idiosyncrasies. Likewise, the more time you spend with Jesus the more you become like Jesus. When you read the New Testament one thing is clear – people were drawn to Jesus (rich people, poor people, good people, bad people). The more you are like Him the more others will be drawn to you. -Pastor Merritt
