America is facing serious issues and civil unrest. The world is facing terrorism with its brutality and threats. So much violence and upheaval, hatred and bitterness. But these and every other problem or situation that causes our hearts to shudder and fear is not a black-and-white issue, an ISIS issue or a we-vs.-them issue. At their very core, you'll find that it is a SIN issue, and no authority or legislation on earth can stop it or cure it. It all begins with each of us coming to God with broken and repentant hearts, for only Almighty God Himself can bring true peace to our world, our nation and our people. I pray that He will do it and that He will do it soon!

You know in a marriage you cannot really have a strong, solid, stable relationship with your spouse if you don't spend time with them. You know as a parent the only way to keep the communication lines open with your children and have a meaningful influence on their life is to spend time with them. Just as you need to spend time with your wife or husband and just as you need to spend time with your children, you need to spend time with God and God wants you to spend time with Him where you just simply focus on Him and you love Him.
