Whether we admit it or not, like Peter, we've all had times when we've denied knowing Jesus Christ. We do it every day. We do it when we're prompted by the Holy Spirit to share the Lord with someone and don't, to help a person in need and don't, when we turn the other way when someone "different" approaches us, or when we do wrong rather than right because it's easier, more convenient or the popular thing to do. This breaks the heart of God! But like Peter, you, too, can find forgiveness and the ability to be used by God once again. Listen quietly in the recesses of your heart and you might just hear the rooster crowing a third time!
- Ron Lambros, President, Touching Lives

"Some of the greatest guys at my church are the ones who serve in the parking lot, through rain and snow and heat and hail. More great ones are the greeters at the door. Still other great ones are the people who, week in and week out, care for the babies in our church, the adults and teens who work in our children's and students' ministry, the guys up in the sound booth. In Jesus's eyes and mine, they are the greatest. Can you see the great ones around you?"
