NYC Hotel Week Is Coming With Luxury Hotel Rooms for As Little As $100 a Night
By CAILEY RIZZO
There’s always a holiday being celebrated somewhere in New York City. And in early January, hotels take over the city for their own celebration.
From Jan. 4 to 14, hotels across New York City are turning out for Hotel Week. During this time it will be possible to book some of the city’s coolest spots at a fraction of the price.
In order to boost business during the typically slow period following the holidays, more than a dozen New York hotels are participating in this discounted promotion. For the eighth iteration of Hotel Week, New York hotels will be available for flat rates of $100 or $200. The rates are especially impressive when you consider that many of the participating hotel rooms are listed at double that.
Sleep in the middle of New York, just a few blocks south of the Empire State Building, at the Wolcott Hotel for only $100 per night (regularly $250 per night). The hotel opened in 1904 and is one of the longest continually-run hotels in the city. It’s got a fabulous lobby and fantastic views to match.
If you’re looking for something on the trendier side, you can book a night at the William Vale for $200 (regularly $340 per night). The hotel is well-known in the summer for its rooftop pool and views of Manhattan. Come winter, the pool may not be open but the views are still there. And cold weather gives you the perfect excuse to stay inside and take full advantage of the room’s floor-to-ceiling windows. We also suggest ordering room service from one of Chef Andrew Carmellini’s three restaurants at the hotel. There’s no time like January to hole up and indulge in a comfortable hotel room — especially knowing you got a discount on it.
All hotels participating in the promotion are available to browse and book on the NYC Hotel Week website.
