Morning Inspiration with Pastor Merritt
If you are a member of a church, we must always be willing to take the plank out of our eye for those of us who are INSIDE the church before we attempt to take the log out of the eyes of those who are outside the church. If you are a professing Christian, a church member and you are living in sin, you need to get rid of that baggage. Don't be afraid to go to your pastor or go to another brother or sister in the church and confess it, repent of it, get accountability and get right.
On the other hand, if you are an outsider and you are tired of carrying around the baggage of sin and you would like to become part of the family of God and get on the inside of His family and His church, redemption and forgiveness is available to you at the Cross of Jesus Christ. The good news for all of us is at the Cross we can always lose our baggage.
