Named User License
A Named User License is a software license agreement where a single named software “user” is specified when the software is purchased or registered. Named User Licenses can be:
- Single seat licenses (a.k.a. volume license accounts)
- Licenses specific to a single user who is licensed to use the software product on multiple computers
- Concurrent named user licenses that permit users to log on to multiple computers, but limits the number of users able to access the software at the same time
