Jesus came into a very unkind world. In his day there were no hospitals, orphanages, mental institutions, Salvation Armies or Red Crosses. None of those things were in existence in the world into which Jesus came. Yet, people were amazed at how Jesus would pour the milk of human kindness into every bowl of human suffering that He came across. He was kind to people who loved Him. He was kind to people who hated Him.
