Kevin Hart to star in Monopoly movie

Kevin Hart’s love of board games continues.
The Jumanji star is set to headline Lionsgate and Hasbro’s upcoming film Monopoly, EW has confirmed. Inspired by the popular board game, the project will serve as a reunion for Hart, with Ride Along director Tim Story also coming onboard.
Hart shared his excitement about Monopoly on social media, writing, “Let’s gooooooooo @timkstory ….We got work to do damn it!!!!! Still grinding with the attitude of an individual that hasn’t accomplished anything yet. Let’s gooooooooo.”
Monopoly is passing go as Hart prepares to begin shooting the sequel to Jumanji, which will also return Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Nick Jones, as well as newcomers Danny DeVito, Awkwafina, and Danny Glover.
The announcement comes during a wild few weeks for Hart that has seen him drop out as host of the Oscars and score the No. 1 film at the box office with The Upside.
