There are times that the Lord diverts us from trouble and He protects us. He keeps us from undergoing trouble and He keeps trouble from overtaking us, but sometimes, God directs us to trouble that He might deliver us from trouble. One of my favorite verses in the Bible that I committed to memory a long time ago was Psalm 34:19. I would encourage you to write this verse down and memorize it too.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.(Psalm 34:19)
