People have a terrible time distinguishing ridges and valleys on topographical maps, unless the lighting comes from the north-west corner of the map. As such, map makers have long positioned the source of their mock illumination at that location on maps.

Place Shifting refers to watching, viewing, or listening to videos, photos, audio files, etc. on a user’s television or other device that are stored on a user’s computer/server or a server that is located elsewhere (like podcasts, for example).
