Today's Tech Term

Broadcast Storm
A Broadcast Storm (a.k.a. Network Storm) is when messages broadcast across a network generate responses, followed by even more responses to the original responses and so on, culminating in a snowball effect and network meltdown.







Did You Know?
In 2014, Australian newscaster Karl Stefanovic wore the same exact suit during every broadcast for the entire year as a way of pointing out how unfairly his female coworkers were judged on their wardrobes (during the year long experiment, not a single viewer complained that he never varied his outfit).
