Channel Bonding
Channel Bonding refers to the process of combining two or more lines in order to double/increase data transfer speeds.
An example of Channel Bonding is using two modems (at a speed of 56 Kbps each) and two telephone lines for a total Internet connection speed of 112 Kbps.
