Did You Know/Todays Term

Did You Know?

ZIP codes, or Zone Improvement Plan codes, were introduced to the U.S. mail system in 1943 and were expanded to the ZIP+4 system in 1983.

Today's Tech Term

Binder

A Binder is a software utility that embeds two or more selected files within a single host file, then compresses it and allows it to be saved under one name. When the host file is clicked open, the embedded files are then decompressed and any executable files are run.
An example of a popular, but now discontinued Binder is Microsoft’s “Pack and Go” feature that was a part of PowerPoint.
