"Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.'"  John 6:35
Not a day goes by that we're not in need of God's grace and peace. Every morning we need His Spirit to fill us again, to strengthen us for what's ahead. Every day we need a fresh word that He speaks to our hearts, that keeps our focus on what's most important. Trying to run this race of life without Him, will do nothing but drain us dry.

Money is Stressful

Money is more stressful than politics for Millennials

by Anna Bahney   @annabahney

Millennials say their finances cause them more stress than politics, work or health, according to a new study.

"Politics is a huge stress for people and we know work is a big stress," says Michael Katchen, CEO and co-founder of Wealthsimple, the online investment management service behind the study. "But we found that money is twice as stressful as work for people, and several times more stressful than politics."

The U.S. Air Force has proposed new weapons pylons for the wings of B-52 bombers, allowing them to carry up to 20,000 pounds of ordnance. This would enable the B-52 to carry the so-called Mother of All Bombs—or a lot of smaller bombs—transforming the aging bomber into the Pentagon’s vision of an “Arsenal Plane.”

Moths Can Use the Earth’s Magnetic Field to Navigate

These plain brown moths can complete long distance migrations by moonlight, using the magnetic field like a compass.

Every spring, billions of dusty looking bogong moths travel hundreds of miles across Australia to a place they have never been. They migrate to escape the oncoming heat, and to hibernate in layers inside caves. How do they navigate this journey, which can take days to weeks each way? Scientists previously imagined that they might use the stars for help. (For instance, dung beetle uses polarized light, the moon or the Milky Way for the far less glamorous task of rolling a ball of excrement along a perfectly straight line for a few minutes at a time). But the most recent research, published in Current Biology, suggest that the moths navigate using magnetic fields instead.

There’s an old story in the whiskey world: Before trucks and bottling lines, all American whiskey was aged and shipped in barrels, soaking up flavor as it sloshed down the Mississippi River. Eventually, people took a particular liking to the barrels marked “Bourbon County, Kentucky.” They started clamoring for “bourbon.” And that’s how that whole thing got started.
