In the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, and Anglican Communion, St. Denis is considered the patron saint of headaches (along with frenzy, strife, hydrophobia, and possessed people), a somewhat ironic patronage given that St. Denis was beheaded shortly after 250 AD.
