U.S. television shows have a rather optimistic outlook on the survival rate of cardiac arrest victims. In the real world, roughly 8 percent of patients survive a cardiac arrest (with treatment), but on U.S. television, the survival rate is approximately 67 percent.

DBCS
DBCS (short for Double Byte Character Set) is a character set/code that uses two-byte (16-bit) characters to represent one character. DBCS was developed for languages like Japanese, Chinese, and Korean that character sets/codes with one-byte (8-bit) characters like ASCII and EBCDIC were unable represent.
