Bats are the only flying mammal, all other mammals that appear to fly (such as flying squirrels) merely glide, but cannot actually propel themselves forward in flight.

A Subnet (a.k.a. Subnetwork) is a separate and identifiable portion of a local area network (LAN) that has been created to improve performance (limiting competition for available bandwidth), share the same IP address prefix (as part of a greater whole with a shared network address), and tighten network security.
