Christmas is just 10 days away, but whether you're planning a last-minute trip or dreaming of doing it big next year, we've found the best place to get all your shopping done.
For the third year in a row, the Christmas market in the Croatian capital of Zagreb was voted the best in Europe in a poll organized by culture and tourism site European Best Destinations.

More than 200,000 people voted on some of the biggest and best holiday markets throughout Europe, including popular markets in Colmar, France and Vienna, Austria.
However, the market in Zagreb has continually impressed tourists and locals alike with its incredible lights and decorations, fabulous open-air entertainment, and tons of pop-up shops with just about every gift option under the sun.
Plus, the market is enormous, spreading out across the city rather than just being packed into one block, with the two main spots to shop in Ban Josip Jelačić Square and European Square. The extra room makes Zagreb a comfortable and enjoyable experience compared to many cramped markets you'll find in other cities.

There’s also a giant Christmas tree, a fountain in the square that’s turned into a gorgeous light display, and an ice skating rink in King Tomislav Square.
The market is only open during the Advent, meaning it closes on Dec. 24. So, if you happen to be near Croatia, there’s still time to experience this Christmas shopping paradise. If not, there’s always next year.
