Life's greatest lessons are learned in the midst of life's greatest struggles. Do you know what makes the soldier? The barracks doesn't make the soldier. The battlefield makes the soldier. You find out what kind of a football player you are between the goal posts. You find out what kind of a baseball player you are on the diamond. You find out what kind of a basketball player you are on the court.
Because God told us the truth. He said it's the storms of life that test your character. And you can be confident that the same God that has stood behind me, will stand behind you. The same God that raised his Son from the dead on that glorious Sunday is the One that walks with us on those dreadful Mondays.
