God never intended for the Christian life to be a parking lot. He meant for it to be a launching pad. When you have a burning love for Jesus Christ, you cannot help but let people feel the heat and see the light.
Yes, they will discriminate against you. Yes, they will try to intimidate you. Yes, they will try to separate you, but when they do, you rejoice that He would count you worthy to suffer for the One whose name is above every name and that name is Jesus.
