If you're a pizza lover who's currently expecting, Domino's wants to make a special delivery just for you. After launching a wedding registry earlier this year, the pizza chain is taking the next appropriate step, releasing its baby registry exactly nine months later. Because, after all, there's no better gift for a mom-to-be than food.
"There's nothing more exciting – and exhausting – than welcoming a new member to the family," Domino's director of digital marketing, Meenakshi Nagarajan, said in a statement. "From baby showers to the big delivery, our baby registry makes it easy to enjoy pizza during the exciting events leading up to the baby's arrival and thereafter."
Starting on Nov. 29, expecting couples can head to dominosbabyregistry.com to make their own baby registries. But instead of including items like strollers, cribs, and baby monitors, couples can make a list of pizza-themed items like onesies, pepperoni pizza moccasins, and pizza mugs. And, of course, expectant parents can also receive actual pizza from friends and family members via pizza packages. The themed packages are given wacky names like "Sleeping Through the Night," "Hormonal and Hangry," and "The Gender Reveal," and are all delivered to the parents-to-be in the form of gift cards.
