Dairy Queen's New Blizzard

Dairy Queen's New St. Patrick's Day Blizzard Puts The Shamrock Shake To Shame

Oreo lovers, this one's for you.

DAIRY QUEEN

For years, McDonald's has cornered the market on green-tinted, seasonal drinks in honor of St. Patrick's Day. But, if the Shamrock Shake isn't your thing, it doesn't mean you're doomed to green beer or — *gasp* — food that doesn't come from a drive thru to celebrate the holiday.

Dairy Queen's got you. The fast food joint just rolled out a limited-time only Mint Oreo Blizzard. It's green, it's Oreo-studded, and it won't spill on the floor when you flip it upside down, as evidenced by the employees who serve it that way. (And inevitably give us all minor heart attacks every. Single. Time.)

Dairy Queen's Mint Oreo Blizzard joins the restaurant's lineup just weeks after the rollout of a limited Valentine's Day treat called the Dipped Strawberry Blizzard, which featured Ghirardelli chocolate in it. The restaurant's St. Patrick's Day dessert is pretty similar to the Shamrock Shake — the only difference obviously being that, if you're an Oreo lover, you'd be way better off opting for the former. All Blizzards are offered in four different sizes: Mini, small, medium, and large. The dessert will be offered at participating Dairy Queen locations all month long.
