Did You Know?
Kittens will meow to both their mothers and human caregivers, but upon reaching adolescence, cats stop meowing at each other and only meow at humans. This doesn’t mean cats don’t use verbal communication with each other, however, as not only will cats hiss and growl at each other, but they will also yowl to attract mates and make friendly chirping sounds (like their mother made to them) when greeting cats they are friendly with.

In the context of data, Random Access (a.k.a. Direct Access) refers to the ability to access, read, and/or write information at random as desired or needed in a file.
