JetBlue, Southwest and Alaska Are All Having Sales — Here Are the Best Deals

Travelers looking to book either a last-minute fall getaway or get a jump start on their 2019 vacation will find a slew of savings as three U.S. carriers are currently running sales.


JetBlue, Alaska Airlines, and Southwest are currently running flash sales, with domestic deals that start as low as $49 one-way and international flights that start at $99 one-way.

Those booking through JetBlue and Alaska Airlines will have to act fast, as the two-day sales are only available through Oct. 17.

JetBlue’s deals are available for travel between Oct 12. and Dec. 15, with top savings including $49 one-way flights from Long Beach to San Francisco and $49 one-way flights from Charleston to Washington, D.C.

There are also $54 one-way flights between Long Beach and Las Vegas, $59 one-way flights from Boston to Atlanta, $64 one-way flights from New York to Washington, D.C., $69 one-way flights from Burlington to New York, $69 one-way flights from Richmond to Orlando, and $74 one-way flights from both Austin to Orlando and from Boston to New York.

Boston fliers can snag $99 one-way flights to Bermuda and $119 one-way flights to Mexico City, while top international deals also include $99 one-way flights from Fort Lauderdale to Havana, and $139 one-way flights from Orlando to Montego Bay.

Alaska’s top deals include $49 one-way flights from San Francisco to both Los Angeles and Las Vegas, $49 one-way flights from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, $59 one-way flights from Seattle to Portland, $64 one-way flights from Los Angeles to Portland, and $99 one-way flights from Los Angeles to Dallas and from San Francisco to Chicago, Austin, and Baltimore.

There are also deals to several stops in Mexico, most of which take off from the west coast. Examples include $119 one-way flights from Los Angeles to Guadalajara, $149 one-way flights from Los Angeles to Ixtapa, $139 one-way flights from Los Angeles to Manzanillo, and $139 one-way flights from San Francisco to Los Cabos.

Alaska’s deals are available for travel between Nov. 6 and March 7, 2019.

Meanwhile, Southwest’s sale runs through Oct. 25, with deals available for travel between Oct. 30 and March 6 of 2019.

Top one-way deals include $49 flights from Las Vegas to San Francisco, $59 flights from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, $59 flights from Los Angeles to San Francisco, $59 flights from Nashville to Atlanta, and $69 flights from Portland to Los Angles and Burbank.

East coast fliers will also find one-way deals that include $82 flights from New York to Chicago, $99 flights from New York to Tampa, $99 flights from Boston to Houston, and $99 flights from Philadelphia to Tampa.
