Clan
A Clan is a group of gamers who play as a team in multi-player online games. Clans may be “official” and are a built-in part of a particular game’s mechanics or they may be “unofficial/informal” and simply exist by mutual agreement.
In MMORPGs, the groups of gamers are referred to as Guilds.
