Did You Know?

The slang term “the clink”, used to refer to prison or jail, can be directly traced back to an actual prison, located in Southwark, England, named The Clink which served the Liberty of the Clink, a large local manor area, between the 12th and 18th centuries.

Today's Tech Term 

Bleed

Bleed refers to printed text and graphics that extend all the way to the edges of the paper they are printed on. Since most printers are not capable of printing to the edges of paper, the printing is done on paper that is larger than the final desired size, which is then trimmed down to “fit”.
